The Marker Jester 18 Pro ID bindings are getting a refresh for this year, adding a new toe and heel piece design that's made to take freeride skiers looking for burly bindings to the next level. The Jester 18 Pro is the top-end binding for high-end and competitive skiers who are looking for the ultimate in binding performance. The fact that the DIN goes up to 18 says a lot about this binding. It's kind of like how speedometers in cars go up to 160 mph, but the car can't really go that fast. If you're setting your bindings to 18, you're in for quite a ride. The range is what it's really all about, going from 8-18, so check your charts before purchasing the Jester 18 Pro. The heel is easier to step in and get out of versus the previous generation, offering a satisfying snap rather than an inconclusive clunk. When you're in, you're in. Back to the car analogy, the bindings serve as the steering wheel to the ski, and it all starts at the toe piece. The Triple Pivot Elite Toe features the same horizontally-mounted spring that allows for a shorter overall mount zone, and the wide body platform is specifically designed for today's wider and more powerful freeride skis. Plastic parts that are found on the lower end bindings of the royal family get a magnesium upgrade, allowing for a stiffer performance with lower weight. *Returned skis that have been mounted are subject to a 20-25% restocking fee. If you are unsure about keeping the skis or your boot size we recommend shipping the skis & bindings unmounted.
Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
