These chairs are not recliners. These chairs do not have footrests. Rather the back of the seat reclines, it glides back, and the seat returns to the upright position when you sit up. VERY comfortable.
Chairs can be inspected before purchase. By appointment. GRAND RAPIDS MI area.

A single chair is 33.1" wide overall. But remember these chairs are in rows, so the 27.2" center-to-center width is the more important dimension. See spec drawing in pictures above.
